Experience a captivating exhibition of masterfully crafted works that showcase Loewe’s bold avant-garde spirit and innovative craft techniques honed over decades
This exhibition began in Shanghai in 2024 and next is held in Tokyo starting in March 2025. Japan was the first country outside of Europe where Loewe launched in 1973.
This exhibit was created in collaboration with OMA, an architectural firm known for its innovative designs. They developed a space that chronicles Loewe’s history—from its beginnings as a leather craftsman’s studio in Madrid in 1846 to its evolution into a globally recognized fashion brand celebrated for its iconic designs and cultural collaborations.
The exhibit celebrates the joy of handcrafted art and culture. Visitors can experience the sights and sounds of Spain and immerse themselves in the world of porcelain crafted by Suna Fujita, an inspiration behind Loewe’s creations.
Additionally, the exhibit features collaborative cultural projects with Japan. For example, it includes a documentary, with the support of the Loewe Foundation, about the Onishi family, who have been crafting tea ceremony pots in Kyoto for over 400 years.
Admission is free, but reservations are required.
